Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LCSW, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments for students displaying mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges, and defining their treatment plans based on individualized needs.

  • Implementing therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to help students develop coping mechanisms and resilience.

  • Maintaining meticulous clinical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and promoting confidentiality in all client interactions.

  • Collaborating with a specialized treatment team that may include educational professionals, mental health experts, and community resources to provide comprehensive support for students and their families.

  • Participating in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss treatment plans, continuing education, and best practices aimed at enhancing service delivery.

  • Providing education and resources to students and their families regarding mental health awareness and available community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their treatment.

  • Staying current with the latest research and methodologies in mental health, ensuring the provision of the most effective therapies and interventions.

The focus of your role will be on school-aged children and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health challenges.   • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
