'Unlabelled' wine, also known as a 'cleanskin', is becoming increasingly popular in Australia.

Wines may be unlabelled for any number of reasons. The winemaker may have excess stock that was previously set aside for tastings or private use, or perhaps there were production or logistical issues that meant labelling the batch was not feasible. Either way, unlabelled wine tastes no different to labelled wine, and can usually be bought at a significantly reduced price.
